Josh Jordan verbally committed to Iowa State earlier this summer. Jordan is a QB for St. Amant high school in Louisiana. St. Amant runs a spread offense similar to what the Cyclones will run under new offensive coordinator Robert McFarland. Jordan threw for 1,349 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior.
