Iowa State Hosts Several Top Wrestlers – Andrew Long Commits

Two time state champion Andrew Long (47-1) from Creston verbally committed to wrestle for Cael Sanderson and the Cyclones earlier today.

Long watched the Iowa State football team beat the Iowa Hawkeyes last Saturday at Jack Trice Stadium.  Other wrestlers who were scheduled to visit include:

Nate Carr Jr. (Jones County, Georgia) – originally signed with West Virginia in 2006, wrestled for Iowa Central last year at 157 pounds, son of former Cyclone wrestler and three time NCAA championship winner Nate Carr

Alex Meade (Camden Wyoming, Delaware) – wrestled for Caesar Rodney High School, Delaware state champion, 2007 ASICS First Team All American at 145 pounds

Jordan Oliver (Easton, Pennsylvania) – wrestled for Easton High School, two time Pennsylvania state champion, 2007 ASICS Second Team All American at 119 pounds
